(C) because the paragraph doesn't actually say any of the other things, it might imply them but all that is said is that the writer does not like the way Americans sit in front of the TV

I tell you that when I watch TV with my family, I'm not silent and my jaw is not slack. Then again, I pick and choose certain shows and they're usually comedies (well, I tend to laugh at non-comedy shows too).

I'm not answering your question, yes, but I think this silly obsession with worrying about families watching too much TV is ridiculous. TV has been around for over 60 years. As a society: we're still alive. we still have the same collective IQ, we still produce, we still get things done.

If someone wants to be a TV addict, it's really none of your business.

c....Too much TV
Girl, you know it's bad when the only time parents spend with their children is when they are carpooling them from place to place. And what do they do?....put a friggin' DVD/TV in the mini-van/SUV! Drives me crazy!

I gotta stop or my blood pressure will rise!

A

Not B because it doesn't mention "quiet hour"

Not C because it doesn't mention "Americans" we just incorrectly assume it

Not D because it is just off topic too much.
