Perhaps a gift certificate, but why? What will your future partner think of you giving a present to an ex? Or his future partner of you giving a present to him.

He probably has the equipment he needs, then.
Are there any books on these topics that he doesn't already have?
Or look in t-shirt shops or come up with a t-shirt idea that you can have made. Humor always works.
Buy him music or a movie you think he'd like.
Is there something you have that he always liked? Give him that. It will remind him of you.

even if it small it will mean a lot even if it not so expensive it will also means alot
cz pesents they done mesuerd by how much is it or how big is it no its mesured by its meaning if u understand
any way bring to him something that he care about but in the same time something that show him that u still remmber

a phone call ... and ask him to go with u to dinner.. cause we all know u still have feeling for him or else u wouldnt give a ... see what went wrong in the relationship.. then from your heart--not lustful thinkin do what u have to do right wy from there...
Buying him things wont change the fact he's ur ex....
