That's tough - I know the state is a big help with Child Support issues, but not so much with spousal support. Try www.oregon.gov for divisions/departments that might help - phone numbers are listed there as well.

I also know that, if the government (both the state and the IRS) are made aware of the support amount owed, they will send any refunds to YOU instead of to him. The best part is that - at least in Oregon - spousal support amounts in arrears collect interest, where child support amounts do not.

Good luck!

Contact Salem District Attorney. The DA can get the ball rolling on garnishing wages.

How a significant different spends their time received't as a rule impression the question, as in operating comprehensive or area time, operating as volunteer. What we may want is that at separation both activities might want to revert to being totally autonomous of one yet another, yet a era of dependence looks to convince some courts that some aspect of ongoing dependence is to be maintained. at times this looks mandatory. more desirable typically we may have a contractual criminal responsibility to ongoing help. In those circumstances truly typically the surely justification will be significant massive difference in earnings.

go to www.childsupport.com if he's not in jail. you answer questions like his address, job, ss# stuff like that and that should help you. (i tried but mine was in jail.) no cost no attorney fees.
hope that helps. good luck i know it's tough. my daughter is almost 20 and i'm still going to court. i get just back support now and it's still in the tens of thousands. it's not about the money any more it just make me feel good to know that he'll be paying till he dies and after.
