I am 1/2 black, my dad is white and native american, and my mom is black, and my family on my moms side are rude ,crass, back stabbing, and unaffectionate, the complete opposite of my fathers family, and I only date white or hispanic guys becasue the black guys I see around where I live are immature and dont work, and sell and buy drugs

If you hate all black people on account of the ones you've met then yes, i have to say that's bad.

Of course people have bad experiences with others.
But that really has nothing to do with skin colour.
It has to do with the family, the circumstances they grew up in, their education, their upbringing, ect...

And it also depends where you live.

I mean, if you live in the Bronx then it's kind of hard to believe that you'd find a God-fearing, no drug dealing, no whoring around type of guy. But then again, isn't that stereotypical of me?

So you see... you don't have the right to hate those you've never met.

The minute you start to hate, you've closed your heart to change.

i think cuz of ur feelings for your mom is making direct it to your whole race. I know dedicated black family members. My mom side of the family is rude too, they dont give a damn if u live or die, but that doesnt mean i hate my family or my race, just means i dont need them.

I say u are already apart of the black race, learn to appreciate it. Its a culture, and not every black person sells drugs, my brothers dont, they have college degrees and is in the navy. Those guys are prob just lazy.

and who told u that the white and hispanic guys wont hurt u, some of those are bums too.

I dont think you completely hate them, you just run into the wrong ones. I admit my race is pretty stupid sometimes but I gotta appreciate the ones who actually try to change there image to be a sucessful person. So in a way I dont blame you, i get ashamed of the rude ghetto black people who make other black people look bad and than say people that say anything to them for being stupid are racist.

Unfortunetely you will always have a more favourite side of your family, in this case it's your father's side, but because they are your most favourite and you dislike your mother's side to are relating that to the colour of their skin. I think you should look at why there are disfunctions within that side of the family, maybe see how they were raised and compare that to the upbringing of your dad's family, so don't ever say you hate black people, you don't, you just don't like the way that side of your family acts.

There is so much wonderful history to all races. Diversity is the spice of life. Maybe the issue isn't "black people" but being comfortable in your own skin. Everyone has something that makes us feel different, so you aren't alone. Surround yourself with all kinds of people and find a group where you can celebrate differences. Good luck!

Hate is a pretty strong word, stop hating and get out there and do something with your own life. By doing this you will meet a lot of people with different qualities no matter what their race or colour is.

A bonus is no one will be sitting around down the track saying look at that " waste of space" about you one day.

Even though your experience with the black folks around you has been negative, remember that they are not an accurate reflection of all black people. Date whoever you are attracted to physically, not strictly based on race. There are idiot men who are white, black, Asian and Hispanic, trust me. All races are affected.

It is perfectly fine to hate black people. And it is perfectly fine to hate them over how your relatives act because the fact of the matter is, almost all black people act the same way. Also, the word hate is never too strong if in regards to black people.
