If I were in your situation, I'd be working with a temporary agency. They could place you because the employers are looking for short term assignments.

Try getting hooked up with a placement agency.

*note: any legit job agency does not charge you (the employee) money. IT charges the employer the fee.

I worked with OfficeTeam for years while going to school. They are mostly administrative work, Reception, Administrative Assist, Data Entry.

Look in the phone book in your area, there are others that hire for childcare, cleaning, and light industrial (factories).

Some places have "temp-to-hire" which means you start as a temp, but if they like you after 3 months or so they may convert you to a regular employee. But becareful, some employers just dangle that to get you to work harder, for no sure job.

Working through an agency can be good, you get paid every week (nice when you need to make ends meet), and you get a variety of work, from week to week it might be different places.

Good luck

What about selling Avon? You may have to pay like $20 ... but if you really dedicate yourself to it..it can work out for you. I'm sorry youre having trouble getting a job. What about cleaning houses? You can ask around and see if anyone is looking for a baby-sitter.

It is illegal in the US to discriminate against someone for being pregnant under federal law.. if that is a reason that you have received for not being hired then you can sue..
