Mate, we really need more information. These days really good aussie nurseries will try (if possible) to provide you with suitable plants that are indigenous to your area. Sometimes if you are fortunate enough to live near the right nursery your plants will be grown from local provenance seed or cuttings. If you can, visit a landcare (or similar) nursery.

What you want is the "Austree." You don't say where you live but these trees thrive just about anywhere. I have sold and used them here in Maine's Zone 4 conditions. Just Google Austree or start here:

They need lots of water the first year but after that they are established and really take off!
