4-3x-1+2x-6 = 4-1-6-3x+2x = -3-x

12a+b-3a+4b-5a-b = 12a-3a-5a+b+4b-b = 4a+4b

Hopefully, you can figure out the other two by using my answers an example. Good luck!

you would in basic terms set 3x-4 equivalent to 0 0 for(4/3=x), and then you would set x+6 equivalent to 0 for (-6=x). You attempt this because each and each and every of those little equations is an X intercept. it truly is a quadratic inequality. Quartic Inequalities are shaped like "united statesin many cases. so that you may have 2 solutions now because it has 2 x intercepts. once you've extra questions in basic terms e mail me

4-(3x+1)+(2x-6) = 4-3x-1+2x-6 (simplify by removing brackets)
= 4-1-6-3x+2x ( arrange by similar power of x )
= -3-x or -x-3 ( simplify to the solution

4-(3x+1)+(2x-6)

distribute the signs, start with the negative - into (3x+1). This becomes

4 - 3x - 1 +(2x-6)

Now distribute the positive + into (2x-6). This brings you to

4 - 3x - 1 + 2x + - 6

Combine like terms.

-x - 3
