It is a sound that can be turned off. First go to Control Panel and then to Sounds and Audio Devices. Click the sounds tab, scroll down till you get to the Windows Explorer area. Test each sound by clicking the name of each sound then clicking the play button. If the sound you describe is one of them, scroll to the very top of the sound choices and choose none, then click apply. If this doesn't do it You can also go into Internet Explorer, then click on Tools, then Internet Options. Click the advanced tab, then scroll down until you see the Multimedia area. Then uncheck play sounds in web pages.

sure it truly is amazingly risky. a large kind of the time it truly is almost continuously from unreliable sources. Like let's imagine in case you get carry of them on Limewire. Alot of viruses come from there because you do not see the source of the position you have become it from. the most acceptable ones are depended on sharing internet sites. From adventure, i did get viruses on my very last pc pc. I knew I were given viruses from them because I purely used that pc for below college artwork. Then i began downloading music and that i have been given a lot of of viruses. Then I switched to a Mac and now i get carry of a few thing i choose with out having viruses.

Very funny, Scotty! Now, beam down my clothes!

The 'annoying sounds' are set in the browser preferences.

You didn't tell us which browser you use. You should be using firefox. http://getfirefox.com
