Does anyone know about how much a newspaper reporter makes a month?

Depends on where they're from. In the Northern (and less populated) area of Texas, where I'm from, they make between $30k and $40k a year.

Not much at all. If you're with a small, hometown newspaper and nothing major, it's probably less that $15-20,000 a year.
