Well, If I was going to tell the truth, I would say that you should not get a Motorola Phone at all, becuase over the past two weeks I went trhough 2 becuase they both had "Software Issues". Well, I am with Smasung now becuase I was sick of Moto. And also if you are goign to school, you should not get anything new, becuase they are fragile, RAZRs and Chocklites are new, and I know that you shoud steer away from sliders becuase I know that they are a new Product Becuase, and new stuff most times has issues.
Here is a funny story, I went to the verizon Wireless store a few months ago and said I would like a RAZR, and the man got one and fliped it open with one finger, like how people do that, you know, and when he did so the top broke of the bottom, so it is a fragile phone and without even using it said to him I will not have that phone, and he explained how he tells people to get insurance for those becuase of that and I ended up getting anothr Smasung.
Well, now for what you shoud get, a good Phon I have is called the Samsung SCH-a930, witch does all of the things that the Choc and Razrs do and is more Durable and a Bit Cheaper.
Love that phone.

The best phone i have ever had is the phone i have right now. It is a sony erricson Z520a. It's got interchangable faceplates, you can have music ring tones, great games, it is bluetooth adaptable (i have a motorola 500) and it has fun lights on the side that light up whenever you get a call. It is also a camera phone for those moments when you just have to get a picture! :)

I like verizon, it is my carrier. The only bad thing is, they charge for received texts as well as sent. A lot of my friends have verizon, and we get free mobile to mobile minutes since we share providers.

Definately the new LG chocolate. it is amazingly sleek, stylish and looks exactly like an ipod. Everyone will be wishing they had that phone,lol.
