Multiply straight across. For example, 1/5 x 1/2. Multiply 1x1=1
Multiply 5x2=10. So, your answer is 1/10.

When you multiply fractions you multiply numerators (the top) with each other, and you multiply denominators (the bottom) with each other. Here are some examples:

4/5x2/5=(4x2)/(5x5)=8/25

17/3x4/9=(17x4)/(3x9)=68/27

Some times the question will have a whole number like 6. Write this as 6/1, because 6 divided by 1 is 6. For example:
19x2/9=19/1x2/9=(19x2)/(1x9)=38/9

Hope this helps! And thank you for asking a question that did not require a specific answer!

1/3*1/8=1/24 multiply the top numbers for the numerator (the number on top of the fraction bar) and multiply the bottom numbers for the denominator(the number at the bottom of the fraction bar) and u have ur answer for multiplying fractions, but if u have like 1*1/2 then the other example at the top is right
be more specific.
