Whitney. Whitney's voice is much more soulful and richer. Mariah's is lyrical and high. I just wish Whitney could get her Mojo and herself together to be the powerhouse she once was. I hope she makes a turn around like Mariah did.

Mariah, Whitney was great in the begining years, but then she really screwed up her rep. Besides, Mariah has came back with a bang the past couple of years.

If you had asked me 10 or 20 years ago I would have said Whitney no doubt! But sadly, Whitney has kissed her voice goodbye in exchange for heavy drug usage. Now I would say Mariah Carey is the better singer. So sad! Let's have a moment of silence for Whitney...Hell to tha naaaaw gurl..hell to da naww!

Mariah has a much wider voice range than Whitney. I like them both too but I'd have to say Mariah because of her voice range.
