If you quit every job you have because you don't like the boss, I don't think you'd be employed very long at any one place. Sometimes you just have to adapt, and learn not to take things too personally. It's just a job, it's not your life. Do your best, don't let the boss' attitude get to you, and you may find out later that your boss is a really good person to work for.
If it gets worse in say, 6 months or so, then start looking for another job.

Tell him you read the instructions as a last resort. The instructions the last person left must have been written by a foreigner, tell him you need hands on instruction! Don't expect compliments when you don't even know what your doing. If you don't think he likes you anyway, who said you could think? It doesn't matter if he likes you or you like him, there is a lack of communication here, & for you to just up and leave him in a bind is one thing, if you don't know what your doing is another, & you need proper training, as why you were even hired leaves us clueless! What the heck are you getting paid for? Ask questions!

Give yourself and your boss more time to adapt to each other. You cannot learn the ropes in only 2 weeks, especially if the instructions left by the other person are not very clear.
You are doing your best, so it should work out all right. Good luck! Try to be patient

No. You have to give yourself some time to get adapted. Make a list of your grievances, problems, complaints, questions, suggestions. Ask the boss to give you an opportunity to go over your wish list. If he won't help, look elsewhere in the company to see if there is another position for you.

You could confront him with exactly how you feel?! But, have another job lined up first if you decide to quit. I have found that an unlikeable hard to deal with person exists at every job. There is always one.

yes. If you can't change your boss, then change your job. But be sure before quit, get the job first. Or you have a bigger stress than your boss. :)
