4 - aint going to happen
Few reasons:
1. No way Congress would give Bush the authority after all the Iraq mistakes
2. We can't afford it
3. The country's morale is down enough as it is and we are ready to get the heck out of the Middle East already
4. Iran has a good argument for enriching uranium for energy purposes because they are a corporating member of the NPT

Iran will get nukes in the near future, and then goodbye, Tel Aviv. The Israelis would respond with a massive nuclear strike, so the war would be over quickly. Unless, of course, Syria decides to get involved, in which case Israel will smash through Syria's army, using no care to keep civilians safe, because they will be fighting a Second Holocaust.

I don't really see it happening, honestly. Not yet anyway. If it does start, it's going to be 5) None of the above. It will start WWIII, and that's it. Russia and China will most likely side with Iran. Iraq will be used as a point of entry for our troops. Israel will side with us, along with the UK, and most likely France and Germany (surprisingly enough). We'll have Japan, and South Korea. North Korea will side with Russia, China, and Iran, if they'll have them. Viet Nam is not a certainty either way, but I think they'll sit it out until the war comes to their doorstep. Most countries on the continent of Africa will side with us, but many would side with Iran.
It wouldn't be pretty. I'm glad President Bush and the UN are working together to try diplomacy first.

I have to agree with farkas419, she has the best answer to me. My answer is: it appears that littlebush is prompting us to accept an attack on Iran. Is it necessary? Well as much as i despise the littlebush creep that clown Ahmedinajab is a nutcase and needs to be stopped and people like him only understand being clubbed over the head nothing else gets through to people like him so we may not have a choice. No one would stand by and allow one country to "wipe them off the map" that is psycho and extreme to the second power. So a war with Iran might be a "no choice" scenario and littlebush is the man for the job, despite what i think of him. You want a cowboy, nutjob, liar to deal with a&%ssholes like Irans president. Its the world we live in. Reality sucks.

Inevitable.
Even if we stick our heads in the sand and ignore the waring signs, we will be at war with the Jihadis. They want war with us.
The great news is that we now have the very things we need to engage and win a war against Iran: Military Bases in Iraq.
And you thought we were there to free the Iraqis....or for the oil....or revenge? Hell No....we were there for something even more valuable, locations from which to launch the annihilation of Iran and Syria.

I think Iran will have a nuclear mishap and destroy themselves, I watched they're missile take off and peter out. The Iranian Government appears to be missing a couple of apples from the basket if you know what I mean.

Not going to happen. If Iraq isn't won over yet what makes you think Iran will be? Do we forget Bin Laden is still out there. Another unsolved case.

Initially 1. I see it as Israel vs. Iran because if Iran gets nukes, Israel will be their primary target. Everyone with a brain knows this with the freakshow Iranian tyrannt's statements.

"hizbollah was a threat, and without iran, hizbollah would not have been a threat, therefore, we must attack the Source"
all of this crap when no one from the west mentions israeli's terrorist activities
