I don't think so. But, I guarantee you that there is a way to trace the IP address or location-origin of any email sent to you, most especially those that would threaten or try to influence you to do something illegal and where police involvement is warranted.

Not really, unless they register their details in the public domain, e.g. Yahoo profile set to public which would allow you to search on it. But this has to be done by the user. (Hotmail has a similar thing).

The header shows -- TO; / FROM etc.
If you would tell what email program you are using I could tell you how to see 'full headers' for all the info.
