I don't mean some mail order bimbo! I just would like to meet someone who isn't a snobby white girl but someone who understands what it means to be a minority and appreciates different cultures and sees the world in a more global way.

Maybe you're just looking in the wrong places. The kind of women you describe are looking for a guys of different cultures who see the world in a more global way. You may have to travel, or at least get out of your own environment and be adventurous. Although I don't usually recommend it, the internet is a good place to start. There you will find multi-cultural people who want to find honest guys who will treat them right. In some countries, women outnumber the men, so your chances may be better in a different setting. So the girl of your dreams may be only a click away, or thousands of miles away, depending on whether you travel virtually or via International Airlines. Happy Hunting!

Ok--let's start with changing your mind about how we white women are all snobby. Maybe we sense that and don't want to have anything to do with it. You think you know when someone is judging you because you are black...guess what? We have that radar too.
Then, when all that garbage is gone, try hanging out at the places where you see the women you are attracted to and just start up a conversation that has nothing to do with anything you just listed above. Like...maybe start with the weather. Corny, but a nicer ice breaker than ..."so are you into exploring other cultures?"

Probably by going out and talking to people, meeting new people and just being sociable, you never know it might work out and you might get some relationship out of it, and just because the white women you know are snobby don't mean they all are, and it does not mean that all ethnic girls are not

Become a regular at your church. Take a class at any community college in a big city, as they are filled with ethnic people of all variety. You might even meet a "white girl" who is not "snobby."

Go hang out in "ethnic" neighborhoods! Or near large universities with a diverse student body. If you live anywhere near New York, Brooklyn and Queens have great ethnic area to hang out in.
