In fact some are simple minded, not everybody can be bright. Many have nothing to do and play the fools, enter the site to have what they think is "fun". It depends on the kind of subject you choose, you may find very interesting questions and learn something through some serious answers.

I've given up trying to make silk purses from sow's ears. Just go with the flow and have a few laughs. Believe it or not, though, there are some sensible people who ask intelligent questions, and those who give helpful and insightful answers on here. You really have to search, though.

Those who Want to Appear simpleminded are actually an offense to the truly simpleminded. Seemingly these individuals have come to the conclusion that negative attention is as good as positive attention ; thereby assuring that they will continue leading their little sad and abused lives. Ignore them and often they DO go away.
