Bush & Co. (mainly Karl Rove) determined that their administration would use the war in Afghanistan to launch a war in Iraq in 2003, thus making Bush a war president in the upcoming 2004 election. Purely political moves with a few Cheney power-hungry ideas thrown into the mix. Iraq was a fiasco, but the country and most of the MSM was supportive at the time. After the debacle of Katrina, the nation finally woke up and understood that Bush was incompetent. As New Orleans was drowning, Iraq was smoldering with ethnic violence; and Bush's approval ratings sank and never recovered. Unfortunately, Bush is oblivious to understanding accountability and responsibility and courage is a term he doesn't comprehend. Soon, he will retire to Texas, but he has left our country in the worst condition since the Great Depression. HIstory will not be kind to him or his administration.

That's common political practice. Too common to be punishable.

All of the liberals should be rounded up and shot.

I think that is a fitting penalty.
