I think it is extremely healthy that kids would watch things like that.
Except that the media is actually giving you a semi-messed up view of the gay community. I happen to have several gay couples as friends and they certainly arent so girly or so potrayed by the media.
Dont believe the MTV gay interpretation!

Yep, I completely agree. On Next and Parental Control it seems like more than half of the shows have gay people! Nothing against them but I think it's kind of misrepresenting everything and making it seem like more than half the population is gay. I don't really think it would be good for young kids to watch most of MTV, especially shows like next.. laguna beach and stuff would be ok though pretty much..

I dont think they are persay, "forcing" it down our throats. It is incredibly important in television to be sensitive to a certain group who is not understood, or is alienated. For example, since 9/11 we see more Muslims on TV talking and trying to inform people. MTV tries to do the same regarding gays. Through MTV we become more informed about the gay lifestyle, and see that they are not much different from heterosexuals. Besides, its fascinating seeing a feminite guy. Previously in history, guys were encouraged to be "macho"; finding out that there are guys who contain girls trapped inside them is facinating...like finding a third eye somewhere. This fascination allows gays to be featured on plenty of shows, whether we like it or not.

I in no way reported it became. ALL crew A isn't adverse to ALL crew B in basic terms because some man or woman A that you met is. Creationism being taught in faculties hasn't at the moment been reported in my disctrict, and that's no longer at the moment taking position, so that's no longer an problem for me. I stay in California, so gay marriage is an stressful problem at the moment, yet i do not characteristic it to any particular faith, in basic terms more desirable than one non secular association customarily. ALL atheists do not imagine precisely alike so do not assume ALL crew A is annoyed by technique of ALL crew B because ALL crew A do not accept as true with one yet another and neither ddoes crew B

I hate MTV, look at what this one channel has turned into and how it effects our children. No it is not good for kids, kids not only watch it, they imitate it, dress, attitudes, they way they communicate with others. I have 8 year old daughter and she has more sense than most 15 year olds, why, she is being raised by me and not America, if you want your children to conform to things not good for them, keep letting them watch. Yes, TV in general sucks, watch Lou Dobbs, Rescue Me, The Shield, Sitcom reruns, and Discovery.

Its just about as healthy as daytime soaps, the evening news, action movies, their parents smoking, violent cartoons, and the cooking networ- seeing as though they use those AWFULLY sharp knives!
There is nothing wrong with someones lifestyle as long as it doesnt directly affect you. I say if it bothers someone that much- they have the right to FLIP THE DANG CHANNEL.
They are people, and they hold jobs. i would much rather see Queer eye for a straight guy that another gawdaful show from Maury with young women who have NO idea who their baby's daddy is!

Yes, I do believe it is being shoved down our throats by the liberals(democrats?). When Arnold refers to "girly boys", I applaud him for standing up to what he and most of us believe. The entertainment field is pretty much dominated by gays and they are promoting their lifestyle. I can't stand their way of talking and moving. I know ther're usually pretty talented people, but I belong to the John Wayne/Arnold Schwarnegger, Clint Eastwood school of human behavior.

gay sara sara! Okay, I've earned my queer points. Yes, I think it is good and okay for young people. It is also good for GLBT's to see themselves reflected in all our events because we are there when holidays, graduations, births, weddings, and more occur.
I do think it is sometimes unnecessary to have the role be fashion fashion fashion....
Gay folk work everywhere.
