it's extremely accurate...remember ...the film's director...some up 'n comer named "eastwood" is a huge fan of jazz music...and it was made before biopics became oh-sooo-fashionable in hollywood...

kenman sez check it out...and also check out "round midnight' starring the great dexter gordon...

Yeah, good question. I remember seeing that movie many years ago. I remember enjoying it alot, but come to think of it now, I do not know how accurate it actually was. I would guess yes?!
