It is not society that count it is in the eyes of the lord. After we are here we have some place else to go and some one more important than any human being that we have to answer to. The people are not just trying to follow the regular laws but they are trying to listen to God words. There is nothing in this world that one can take there life for but there are many things in this world that might make you do such a thing. These are what you call test and everybody has to be tested to see how strong we are as a human being. When we are being tested we will be judged on what we did and how did we handle the situation at hand. If God see that we handled it well and went to him then we will be rewarded but if we don't' go to him with our problems and give him recollection then we have failed that particular test. In conclusion I would like you to give your problem to the Lord and I can Guarantee that he will help you not when you want him to but when you need him to. I hope that I have helped you.

Because as much as society sucks deep down we all have hope that things will get better for ourselves and others. I use to be depressed when I was younger, but killing myself would have cause a chain reaction. I don't know if my mom would have been able to live. Really society doesn't have a say, but I wouldn't do it especially if you are under 50 and also if there is at least 1 person who loves you. Young people often hurt so bad and don't realize things will get better. Also, killing yourself is the ultimate selfish thing to do. By the way no one is perfectly rational.

What makes you think any person in their RIGHT mind would want to kill themselves? No, they are NOT a perfectly rational person you have to be very disturbed to even think of such! And YES believe it or not their IS a Heaven and a Hell and you DO go to Hell if you commit suicide! Suicide is a great sin! People now days think a lot of things are ok and should be legal that's why America is falling apart and they are heading to a rude awakening when Christ Jesus comes back to take his people home with him that have lived a good christian life that were not afraid to stand up for Jesus and say Yes, Lord ,I love you, God! My heart goes out to you all that are so blinded by the sin that the Devil creates to be a pretty picture. because when it's too late that's when alot of people will realize that God really is REAL! Jesus still saves! Let God save you from your hurt and depression or whatever it is that you feel like you cannot deal with anymore. Don't take your life and pass your soul to the Devil, give your heart to God and there is NOTHING that my God cannot handle! He created us and he should be the one to take us away when He is ready.

It should not and is not allowed. Life is a gift and to take ones life is not only depriving them of what they may become as a person, but it also inflicts great pain and grief on those who love them. I have a friend whose husband took his life and it left his wife, children and parents with very much pain. The person thinking about doing this must make a mature choice to think about how it will affect others. There are so many sources of help available and there is always an alternative to whatever the reasons are that make them think that this is a way out.

A "perfectly rational" person would not want to kill his or herself. They would seek counseling.

However, if you are speaking of the "right to die" issue out there, it is really simple: you can't do just anything you may want to do with your body. You cannot prostitute it, you cannot put illegal drugs into it, you cannot sell yourself into slavery, you cannot use it for pedophilic purposes, you cannot murder with it, you cannot rape with it. Society has said that all of those things are wrong. That's the legal answer.

People think they have a right to control other people's behavior so they made a law against sucide because some people think only God or the state has have the right to take human life. Doesn't stop anyone who wants to though because it is an unenforceable law.

whilst i'm for assisted-suicide while a guy or woman is dealing with a terminal ailment, i think of a guy or woman who's suicidal, as I as quickly as became into, is actual soliciting for help. i became into depressed and saved a mag, making plans to kill myself while my daughter graduated from intense college, One word reverberated from that magazine - help! someplace, deep interior, there's a splash flame of existence that doesn't elect to be extinguished. We combat for existence from the 1st breath we draw as a newborn. existence is considerable - no longer trouble-free in line with danger, yet considerable. We each and each have some thing to furnish that we are able to possibly no longer even comprehend: a keen ear to hearken to while a pal needs to speak; the flexibility to alter a tire in a snow fall for an elderly driving force (my son did); the possibility to grin at a stranger and in line with danger brighten their day. there are lots of issues we do each and every day that influence a great number of others and we regularly do no longer understand our magnitude and we alter into depressed. melancholy would be taken care of. Mine became into - 30 years in the past. Suicide isn't a private element - it impacts a great number of around you, relatives, pals - even strangers you would be able to by no ability see lower back. you're efficient - and society treasures value. that's why we frown on suicide.

Good Question!
I honestly dont see why if someone wants to commit suicide that they dont have the free will to do so. Ive seen lots of times that people are ashamed when their friends or family do it. Its not like theyre going to hell... Theyre going to a better place if they want to die. I think that everyone should have the option as a matter of fact.
