No, don't think so. Anti-ageing creams are designed for certain type of skin, so if you use them on a young skin they will not have any effect. It's a bit like taking paracetamol if you don't have a flu I guess. At different ages, skin needs different things. You should see a beautician and get some advice on what cream is better for you...there are so many nowadays.

my skin is good (touch wood), I have times of rubbish diets, not enough sleep and have smoked for years, all contributors of ageing the skin normally so I put my good luck down to genes, no sunbathing (cos I hate the heat anyway) and in winter when I'm prone to wind burns in severe icy conditions I apply a moisturising barrier creme or fluid and nothing else. I dont use soap because my skin doesnt like it, I rinse out a hot flannel and place it over my face, it feels like a sauna and is relaxing. My skin reacts to just about everything on the market but it likes plain old oil of olay that costs under £3.00

I think protection is better than trying to cure. And sooner or later even that wont hold back time. Good luck.

Your skin is continually renewing itself all of the time but as you age the process slows down.
You ought to start using products suitable for your skin age and type and add in the anti-aging stuff at the stage you notice the slowing down process starting.

For the most part that is a myth. The health of your skin depends mostly on heritage and what you eat. Yes, the types of food that you consume play a great part on the health of your skin. Stay away from too much coffee, junk foods, and drink plenty of water. Do not over exfoliate or you could damage your skin. Moisturize according to need. Oil of Olay works wonders and is not too expensive. Above all, get enough rest, exercise, and EAT well with PLENTY of water.
Love,

I have no idea. I have been using products since I was twenty. I don't know what I would look like if I hadn't, but everyone says that I look younger than my 42 years.

I once read abolut a woman who only used creams on the one side of her face to see if it made a difference. Never got to find out what she discovered though. Interesting.

They can do, but if you are just trying to prevent skin damage and signs of ageing, you don't need to use harsh products. A pure vitamin c serum would be a good start (l-ascorbic acid) and an effective sunblock with zinc oxide spf 30. Good luck : )
