Obviously if you had the money available, you could break the cycle yourself. What you need is another source of money? My assumption is that you wouldn't be here if you were able to tap into another source of cash. A good alternative and source for helping people out of this is www.prosper.com. It is a person-to-person lending site. I have made several loans to individuals with similar circumstances to yours. This site is not a scam--the founder of E-Loans is the CEO and the company if funded by some of the founders of E-Bay. Navigating the site can be a little intimidating. Give it a try. I might ask a few more questions here or on the prosper message boards before I actually pull the trigger. By the way, the rates will be lower than what you pay at the pay day loan places and about on par to slightly higher that what you pay for a credit card.

Get a temporary job at night or on weekends to make some extra cash. The payday loan companies should be outlawed. They have one of the best scams in the country and politicans should be ashamed of allowing them to get away with it. The excuse is that people in the inner city don't have banks, so payday loans are actually helping them. What hogwash.

The interest on those is killing you and you will never get ahead. Unless you get a second job, you have no control over what comes in - only over what goes out. So what are your options?

Basically, you have one: control your spending.
NO Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, fast foods or convenience foods.
NO restaurant meals.
NO junk food. No sodas or bagged snacks. Brew coffee at home, drink free water. Cook at home from scratch.
NO unnecessary trips. Save on gas; combine errands.
NO credit card purchases. Buy nothing that is not a basic need.

LOWER your bills. Turn off lights in unused rooms. Turn off the TV when no one is watching. Wash in cold water. Turn down the thermostat and wear a sweater. Wash dishes by hand if you have a dishwasher. Take 5-minute showers.

Ask yourself what you can do without, at least as a temporary measure. Cable TV? Daily paper? What else?

Maybe this sounds harsh, but you will never get out of the cycle unless you can find ways to stop spending. Learn to live within your means.

If it's possible, just try being REALLY cheap for a few weeks. No new clothes, NO alcohol, bring your lunch to work (no eating out at all), etc. If you can just get to the point where your paycheck is JUST enough to get by until the next paycheck, you'll at least be on the right track.

You could also follow the advice of others on here and try to make a few extra bucks on the internet, e.g. through this: http://www.*************/index.php?ref=82532

Wow have faith me I even have been caught up in the whole payday own loan undertaking, it could destroy you! i'm taken with payday loans in case you could have adequate money to pay it back. besides the fact that in case you over borrow it is going to placed you in a financial hollow it is notably much impossible to get out of. you could discover in case your commonplace lenders will enable you to make smaller money or delay them till you get the payday own loan payed off. in case you're in sturdy standings with them they must be better than keen to artwork with you. yet in my straightforward opinion as quickly as you get out you could create a cost selection and save on with and don't fall back into that hollow returned, there are human beings whose entire earnings is going to payday own loan centers, and that they get so caught up in borrowing then re paying, then borrowing returned just to stay off of. they are great for those that want them. in case you should sacrifice a paycheck to do with out then pay them off and be achieved with it, you could properly be conscious you have lots greater loose money once you upload up how lots you have been dropping paying on interest that may no longer easily utilized to you stability, it fairly provides up.

Ask someone in your family for the money who knows your situation. Otherwise, get a short time job to earn the extra money.
