i will never forget the image of steve irwin talking to the camera while sharks were in a feeding frenzy all around him while he stood in the water...the guy was a crazy kook but he was fascinating, funny and very entertaining...i kind of felt one day his luck would run out the way he took risks dealing with wildlife but i would never have guessed it would take a stingray to be the culprit....my condolences to his friends and family....he was one of a kind and his legacy will continue as his shows run on animal planet

Yes I do. He was a wonderful husband and father. I couldn't get enough of the Crocodile Hunter! I feel so bad for his wife and kids.

Yeah he was..
One thing i would like to say is people need to get their facts straight about the whole death tape footage,
People are saying his wife is going to release it,
It's not true, he has 10 days of filming prior to his death that was to be for a documentary for Bindi, His wife is deciding wether to air some of that footage .. not his actual death!.
The tape of his death will be destroyed

Kityrogers, you don't actually know who has and hasn't met him ..you need to keep your comments to yourself as they are offensive.

yes, he was mad as a cut snake, but by crikey he had a gusto and thirst for living his life to the max.

He will be missed.

No, dear, I am sick of the sound of his name and all the wailing and whining. YOU nor anyone else on this site knew him personally, and your lives are not affected one iota by his passing. You are all bored teens who have nothing better to do that sit around asking this kind of crap over and over and over and over and over again. Get a life, kid!
