I know this is stealing an answer, but i had to click on this one to find out the answer, cos i always wondered that.
So if the answer is F5, go for it.
Atleast i am honest about it. Seems we are the only ones who didnt know about it, thanks for asking the question.

Press the F5 button, it's normally set to refresh pages in many programs.

I use a browser called slimbrowser. It overlays internet explorer. Slimbrowser lets you set an autorefresh for any webpage you're looking at. (view/autorefresh) You get to choose how many seconds.

I autorefresh Yahoo answers every 20 seconds. It's great :-) I can sit back and watch the screen and don't have to click anything until I see something I want to read.

When I see a question I want to read further, I right click on it and open it in a new window. That way the page won't keep refreshing - only the original page.

i know that doesn't really help, but when it comes to comps i can't really help lol.

gd luck in this world of technology...
