My stepdaughter was taken to the emergency room recently. She had no insurance. When she contacted the hospital after the fact, they helped her to get financial assistance from local charities. This more than halved the cost of her bill. She worked out a payment plan with the hospital to cover the balance.
Contact the hospital where the surgery will be done to see if they can help you in a similar fashion.

go to the local city hospital. usually all cities or towns have this. they are public own hospitals not private ones. they will do the surgery and then send you a bill. she can then pay every month some money until the bill is pay off. and she wont have to pay the day of the surgery, they usually send you a bill about a month later. but she has to go in under emergency care.
also ask in your town or city for the "free clinics" these are clinic where middle to lower income family can go to to get medical attention and they put the prices regarding how much you make.

It depends where you live. Try getting state insurance if you have low income or other situations. State insurance such as Medicaid, Molina, or your County may offer a health plan with certain guidelines. If that is not possible. Some Hospitals may have programs to provide to people without insurance you could check with that particular hospital as well.

Apply for medical assistance in the state where you live. Even if they do not cover it all sometimes they will cover a portion. If you make too much money they will not cover anything though. If that is the case try Regence Blue Cross they have good insurance plans.

There may be special medical insurance provided by your state if your family is low income or if she is a minor. Visit your local social services office and see if they can help you or provide resources to free clinics that can handle the procedure.

Why would you expect someone else to pay for the surgery?
This is just one of the problems with our society.......someone owes me mentatlity....
I have health insurance, I have health insurance for my daughter. I will never be on a Yahoo board asking how I can get free medical care for my daughter.....
