Try homeopathy. If you don't know a homeopath, you can find one at www.homeopathy.org or track down Soul Doctor on Answers (he's free!). The web site has them listed by state. There are several different homeopathic remedies that could help. It depends on associated symptoms.

As a former Pentecostal I have personally spoke in tongues but I have learned since then that the brain is able to cause a hallucination that seems like it is very real. I have heard of people who have heard people who have spoken in a language that they knew but the person who spoke did not have any idea how to speak the language but I have personally never seen it. Most of the languages do not sound like they are real languages. But the brain can release dopamine that makes you feel like you took drugs and when that happens you feel like you are supposed to speak in tongues.

Some medications cause mouth ulcers, particularly strong antibiotics, which can result in peeling. She should talk to her doctor and/or dentist.
