What is up with you and french fries?

Believe it or not, France is America's second closet ally, second to England. When I say ally, I mean a country with plenty of modern, cutting edge nuclear weapons, who have a peaceful and sharing ideology relationship with the USA.

Every other time we had an enemy, we changed our vocabulary to break ties with the enemies. That's why frankfurters are now hot dogs, sauerkraut was called Liberty Cabbage during the war, etc.
Personally, I have boycotted everything French since the first time they spit in our eye during the Gulf War. If they choose to bite the hand that feeds them, then they will go broke.
