how do you install a heater in a softside waterbed?

drain the water out of the mattress, lift it up, place the water heater where you want it, refill the mattress, plug in and turn on the heater, and enjoy.
i have done this too dang many times to count.

you try not to do it with the water in it unless your hurcules in my water bed the water heater should not sit over the crack were the two peices meet up but i dont know about a softside waterbed hope it might help

It goes underneath the mattress before you fill it.
