As a black person I'm not offended by it. They needed to do something different to keep people interested. So I'm looking forward to watching this year like every other year.

I really think people are too sensitive now a days. If the people on the show aren't offended, then why should we be? Not once did the producers say one group was more superior than the other.

But for those who are offended by it....change the channel. I'm sure there's something suitable on PBS or PAX.

I think its brilliant, its a new twist. If one of the ethnic groups loose the challenge they have to eliminate someone from there ethnicity, thus this is no longer a factor to focus on at tribal council.

Plus after a few weeks the four groups will merge into two groups like they always do in Survivor

At first thought it was very tacky, but now, whats the uproar all about, each one has there duties in surviving, they will vote out the weakest link one by one, then as the show goes along they might merge all of them together, I"m looking forward to it

I don't think it's a good idea, after all there is still much racism in this country. I think it will ultimately do more harm than good, but the ratings will probably be high.
