First off, you are making a bad decision. Second, many doctors recommend two months, even though the package says less. Third, the pill is not always effective. Fourth, the pill does not protect against STD's which are rampant in today's high schools, so you should always use a condom too if you plan to have sex. Fifth, even if you do use a condom, you can still get STD's but the risk is lower.

You're nuts if you sleep with anyone. There is NO SAFE SEX. The pill at best is 90% effective (check the stats). Condoms much less, even together no more than 95% effective.
Do you really want to take the chance of having a baby?

you should take the pill for an entire week in the previous this is on your gadget and able to do its activity. this is recommended to apply different secure practices till then. And confident you will get pregnant from basically one time. I missed purely a pair of days of mine after being on for 3yrs. i'm now 10 weeks pregnant. So be careful! and sturdy luck

I was always told to wait 3 months before having sex. But, you are young, I'd wait longer. I was that age and to tell the truth, it wasn't all that great. The thought of it is great but believe me that was all. I like the 2 more years answer myself.

a month! and if you take any medications, for a cold, it reduces the effectiveness of the pill! So use extra protection at all times. at least you have waited till you were 16 to have sex, don't rush it.

umm, usually the doctor will tell you to wait three weeks, so its probably best to wait three weeks, however i would consult a physician. I would wait though, 16 is pretty young speaking as an experienced person who got pregnant at 17 and had her son at 18... it's alot to handle, just be responsible if you are going to do it, because im sure you are not going to listen to me, make sure you take it every day around the same time and make sure he wares a condom... but please be careful there are so many STD's going around just watch yourself!!

It usually takes several weeks before you have enough pills in you to be effective. I recommend you wait atleast another month.

At least three months, but being that you are only sixteen, you should wait several years.
You are not old enough to know who you want to spend the REST of your life with, and you shouldn't have sex with anyone that you don't plan to spend the rest of your life with.
