Lebanon could have stopped the conflict, they allowed Hezbollah to operate among their population and refused to release the kidnapped Israeli soldiers. You are mad because the United States Vetoed a cease fire resolution but think about it, who would that have been a resolution for? Hezbollah would still be sending rockets into Israel, and the Israeli soldiers would still be kidnapped the only difference would have been Israel would not have been able to defend itself. that is a win win for Hezbollah and a lose lose for Israel. Would do think would have happened if Hezbollah lay ed down their arms? the conflict would have ended. I think Hezbollah got off easy, they should still be getting their a** kicked for what they done. Hezbollah should be gathered up, thrown into a trash compactor, and dropped over board a few miles off shore for an artificial reef.

Israel is an ASSET to the US, Palestine and Lebanon aren't
If Lebanon supported the US then the US would support Lebanon.
Remember, Israel is given BILLIONS is aid. Israel is GIVEN arms! who from? THE US!

Second the USA does not support terror supporting Nations as Lebanon is a supporter of terrorist

Oh wait, they DO attack each other and conduct terrorist attacks on everyone they can reach. Spain, England, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Egypt (remember....they assassinated their President after the Middle-east Peace Accords during President Carter's term), Germany and on and on an on....

US has been giving aid to both Palenstine and Lebanon for years. Aid to Palenstine stopped after Humas was put in power. Since Humas supports terrorism the US by law can not aid them.

simple. we are allied with israel. we give them money, supplies, and weapons. why should we betray them? and hezbollah(sp) is clearly a major pollitical parties in those countries.
