the first time was protected and the second time wasn't. I am a little paranoid but isn't it less likely since he had just ejaculated? I also noticed the very next day and today that I have a lot of clear stringy discharge. My period is due in a week.

You can't really judge probability of pregnancy like that.
Normally you would consider how many women get pregnant in a year.

The discharge you noticed is a mixture of his ejaculation and vaginal fluid.

There would still have been sperm in his second ejactulation.

Make an appointment at a family planning clinic to get some proper advice about family planning and relationships. So you can feel safe and secure. They won't judge you.

Good luck and next time always use a condom and another form of contraception to protect yourself against STI and pregnancy.

IT is not correct at all to say there is a 50% chance of getting pregnant. It is a much much smaller chance - but it is not unheard of.

Listen to Bebe ... it is a much smaller chance. Sperm count increases over time...so if you had sex again closely to the 1st time...there's not as much in there. My friend studied this in scool and said that in the "second one" it's more semen "juice" than anything else. Just wait for your period patiently..if it doesnt come, take a test asap so you can decide what you wanna do. I think youre ok though. Good luck.

It doesn't matter how many times he ejaculates. You have the same chances of getting pregnant every single time. Just curious as to why u didn't have protection the second time? If it was that important to you...you shouldn't of done it again!

Wow, anybody is heavily stupid at present. (referring many times to the guy who reported ... properly i'm no longer gonna quote it.) actual, do study on google in the previous you return at right here with the type of question. anybody could be attentive to that once you're bleeding, you won't have the ability to get pregnant. the only way you get your era each month is this: An egg is released around the middle of your cycle. It lives for approx. 24 hrs. If a sperm has no longer bonded with the egg in this time, the egg disintigrates. At this factor, your uterine lining gets waiting to shed (it is the bleeding you get for the time of your era). consequently, the only way you will get pregnant is for the time of that fertile window halfway by your era. once you're bleeding, there is no egg, and no thank you to get pregnant.

The discharge is ovulation and it only takes once to get pregnant. Sperm lives up to 48 hours inside you.

Umm, if you don't want to get pregnant you should use some contraceptives like the pill or an IUD or any number of alternatives. It's entirely possible for you to get pregnant if you don't.

I don't think it is likely that you are pregnant because unless you know when your time is to ovulate. That is when you are more prone to get pregnant. But it is always a good idea to use safe sex.
