I have a guy friend that has been telling friends that he is going to kill himself......his friends would then come up to me and tell me.
what do you do when one of your guy friends that has been asking you out billions of times want to kill himself......by the way......i didn't do anything to get him mad or upset.:(

suicide is a serious issue these days...... ppl think that to end it all will take care of everything, what they dont realize is the pain they leave behind...... sit this person down and tell him how you feel and why..... be gentle, open , honest and compassionate..... let him know that you just love the friendship and special feelings you have for each other, and that his death would realy hurt and leave you empty and minus a wonderful friend.... let him know that you do not have control over your heart, that if he loves you as much as , you seem to say here, then he would not do anything to himself because of that love..... let him know you understand, but cant help how you feel, and that if you could change things, you are not sure you would, because he is such a great friend..... get books and information about depression and suicide before you talk with him.. be well prepard and informed about this issue....... show him there is help for him and that he is NOT alone in all this.......... He wants attention. Tell your school counselor or call a suicide hotline.
And if you have never been depressed, then you can't possibly fathom what is going through his mind. He's crying out for attention though, call a professional for advice instead of posting here!

This is not about you, this bloke has issues going on. he really needs to speak to someone
who can help him. Try to make him go to an agency or someone who can help him. He needs a good listener. Don,t feel guilty its not your problem, you should not be forced into goin going out with someone. he need help.

My friend did the same thing though I doubt he said he was going to kill himself... he just got over it, I guess... I told him that I wasn't going to date him, and I wasn't going to date anybody... He eventually found happiness and we're on and off friends...

Appears to like he's not in the right state of mind. probably suffering from depressionn or something. Take him to a counsellor.

It really doesn't sound like he's suicidal. Most people that commit suicide aren't that open about it and seem fine until they do it. If you ask me he's asking for attention. Just ignore it. He sounds crazy.

if you want to help him, find out his problem and then try to advise him what to do to fix'it, and if you dont know ask someone. Try to do this very fast....

TALK TO HIS MOM AND DAD AND TELL THEM EVERYTHING THAT U KNOW..... AND DO NOT GO OUT WITH HIM CAUSE HE JUST MIGHT KILL U AND KILL HIS SELF....
