Although I am extremely proud to be an American, I am even prouder to be a healthy, happy human with family and friends who love me and accept me for who I am on the inside rather than the outside versus where i came from or outward appearances.
Isn't it just grand to be alive??

I am an american but I wouldn't say I'm particularly proud of it... especially the fact that so many americans don't vote and don't know what is going on outside the US... or really care whats going on inside the US as long as it doesn't effect gas prices. As for the monkey whose running the show, don't blame me I voted for Kerry.

Lets put it this way...I am happy to be an american...never been cold, hungry, lived poorly or been without employment and was able to attend an affordable college. I own my home and auto and have sufficient funds to exist comfortably till I leave this world. I am proud of the people who made that possible. I take pride in them. Myself, I am not proud, I am grateful and humbled by their efforts...many who gave their lives.
