It's because of racism m&m, even though the racist don't see it that way.

Because once upon a time someone great great great great grandmother was a slave and now we have to pay for it.
I agree- it completely absurd that in this day and age that Blacks not only get "equal" right they also get "special" rights. Everyone should be equal and their should be not quota and no special treatment for anyone.
I am from a poor white family and could get nothing for college. I had to pay the whole thing myself and still am! Meanwhile I saw blacks allowed to go to school for free and do nothing... they never worked hard or studied... the school would get them extra help because we need them for quota. They didn't earn their degree the schools handed it to them.

I don't think the United ***** College fund is only for blacks. Anybody who goes to a historically black college qualifies.
Blacks don't qualify for the Daughters of the Confederacy or Daughters of the Revolution, etc, scholarships.

That's a tough question and it's all about what your opinion is and what you were tought as a kid. My opinion, we deserve it. Plain and simple. Whites owned us for so long and still descriminate against us. WE DESERVE IT!!! And to let you in on a little known fact. White kids go get uncf aid and the solutatorian of my class was a white guy. I went to Dillard University in New Orleans. So just because it's an African American school does not mean that all black kids go there.

why do white people feel like they deserve everything when they get anything in this country it's crazy how a white person can complain about money for anything when mommy and daddy can pay for it why when any race of color has funds to help with financial situations white people go crazy i'm not a racists but white people complain too much

Maybe because the "White man" opressed African Americans for like 500 or more years. Because even after that "White people" put African Americans through HELL and still do from time to time. Maybe because to African Americans here in the US, there is no such thing as "Old Money" because their ancestors were inslaved.

because black people were slighted throughout the history of our nation. while whites were out getting into college automatically because their grandfathers were connected to everyone and had money up the wazoo, black people were slaving in fields as sharecroppers, slaves, and all other sorts of lowly positions for generations just so that MAYBE on person waaay down the line would have the chance to get an education, apply for college and be rejected because he or she was black

No there wouldn't. We already do. Well camouflaged too. Besides. Even in college, black people are no threat. No aspiring flunky ever is. Only truly free people, are a threat to inequitous societies.
