I'm trying to learn how to do accents form my Drama class so I can be a more flexible actress on stage and get better roles.

You could try looking at movies with Southern and British characters in it and mimic what they say. I am from the South and never been too fond of my drawl and have always been fascinated with the British accent.

Practice makes perfect... Rent movies with the types of accents you wish to immitate and practice copying them

Well you have to hear them first...then practice, practice, practice.
