the scrunch has more control, but leaves open the possibility of a finger slipping through.
The fold has less control, but less likely to get a slip through.

I fold. I dont like a finger popping through a thin spot when wadding. Hey, some folks like to live dangerously, others DONT!! lol

I have always wrapped around my hand till I feel it is thick enough to never break through......honestly I never knew people just scrunched it up....????? how do you just scrunch it up??? doesn't it break or something?....plus by wrapping it around my hand and then pulling my hand out I can really get a good wipe....it doesn't seem like you can get a very good wipe if you just scrunch it up

Scrunch cuz i just wanna get rid of that stuff but for tissues i fold every one of them before i use it. I dont kno why i just do.

I fold. Scrunching tends to have thin areas that your fingers can go through. YUCK!
