how are dead "laid after death" in buddhism?

like what do they do after the person die in that religions buddhism give me a right answer people

In the Buddhism of Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Burma, and Sri Lanka, they cremate their dead. I do not know what Japanese Buddhists do with their dead. Some Tibetan Buddhists leave the body for the vultures to pick the bones clean.
