Why do women say they're smarter than men? Why do we say we're smarter?
Women who say women are smarter than men probably do so to get back at men, who have said for centuries that women are stupid and child-like and irrational and can't think.
(Women who have read your question begin to wonder, though.)

Really, I think a lot of animals are smarter than most people...of either gender. Guys think they're smarter because we dont over analyze things and dont obliviously walk into "traps" like most women. Women think they're smarter because they think before they act.....which usually ends up with them getting pissed off at the other gender for acting wrongfully............its a back and forth situation.......guys are idiots.....girls are idiots.......the end lol.

Because most of the time women are smarter ecause they only have one head to think with..... men have 2 and rarely think with the right one...lol.
