Theory: Who you like helps determine your personality.

Big Bird : You're an only child or someone that needs attention all the time. You might even drive a yellow Hummer or Corvette...

Oscar The Grouch : You're a slacker or loser. A punk or goth, or you think you're a rebel. You might smoke pot or be on welfare...(maybe not since you have a computer)

Snuffleoffogus : A sneaky lier. Dishonest. Someone who hides things from others for no good reason. Maybe a car salesman.

Cookie Monster : Obviously a fat slob with no personal discipline. You are obese and can't say no to yourself.

Grover : You are fun, like to have fun, a goof. You don't take life seriously. You maybe drive a convertible . Or a VW bug.

The Count : Anal nerd. Obessive Cumplulsive. Calculater watch. You drive the most practical car and most likely have glasses.

Burt and/or Ernie : You're gay or lesbian.

Elmo : You're retarded

What do you think?

I think your theory is seriously lacking in many respects, but if you took a step back and really looked at the personalities of the characters instead of being so judgmental you might really be onto something.

For example, my favorite character is Oscar the grouch, but I'm not a punk, goth, or rebel. I'm a super happy person that's nice to everyone. But maybe sometimes I wish I could be mean to people the way Oscar is. My choice also has roots in an Oscar the Grouch storybook my mom use to read to me when I was younger. Yet I say you may be on to something because I DO smoke pot...

People are way more complicated than what you have laid out here.

I always loved Bert and Ernie, and I am soooo not gay, isn't there anything else good about them besides their sexuality that would explain why I liked them? Especially Bert's preoccupation with the pigeon thing and Ernie's weird laugh, they just cracked me up. By the way, I realize I just answered your question with another question, but wherever you got that info from is seriously flawed.

I agree with Ashleigh. I love Elmo, but then I am the parent of a toddler who is learning his ABC's before he's even 2! And THAT, my friend, is the power of a retarded little red monster.

Monsters rule, you drool. ;-)

I liked them all in their own way. I know someone who is like almost every one. How did you feel about the Muppet Show? Which one are you?
