What is your favorite word? I don't mean like "muffin" and "puddle." I'm thinking more like "pervicacious" and "refractory."

First off, why can't someone with an extensive vocabulary just really like the word "muffin?"

Second off, I've always loved saying "miscible" over and over.

I have several but today I'll go with:

Metamorphosis.

The notion alone of transformation is fascinating. A substantial and striking alteration of appearance seems so magical to me, and in fact, this is also the term for one of my favorite stage illusions too. Butterflies and magic, along with a word that rolls lyrically off the tongue. It satisfies me. :)

Hippopotomonstrosesquippedalio phobia meaning fear of long words (the phobia part is part of the word but it doesn't allow me to write words that long so I had to seperate it).

I also like the word thrice (which I use more often than the one above)

I think my single favorite word is "asinine," which means foolish. I also love the word "stellar" and the word "perspicacious." (I also like "pernicious," but don't use it much, except when quoting Shakespeare!)
