Is it true that people will tell the truth when they are drunk??? I need 2 know a.s.a.p.

Drunk,sober sleeping or in between,they will lie if they know they will be in trouble.

Sometimes a person who does not want to tell the truth or does not want to reveal their true feelings will say more than they normally would when they are drunk. It is due to their inhibitions being lessened by alcohol and being more willing to talk.
Unfortunately, if the person is a chronic liar, they do not know when they are lying and could still lie. So it is not a fool proof method. If they were just mumbling and kind of sleepy - it is hard to know what it would even mean.
If you think the drunk person was revealing something important - ask them when they are sober and gauge if they are telling the truth or lying to you in response to your questions.

from a personal stand point when i am trashed i tend to be more honest because i dont care about what people think at that point if a girl asks me to dance and i say no i am sorry you are not my type but thank you she says what makes me not your type and i say about 120 pounds and she gets mad its her own fault i never would have gone in depth had she not asked me so in that situation i tell the truth and no matter how painfull (and i know anybody reading this hates me probably) quit pussyfooting around people be honest if some one is fat tell them you are fat thats why america has so many obease people because society accepts that as a norm now. If it is legitamate like a tyroid thing ok but thats not a cop out either there are treatments.

Drunk, no. A drunks babbling is unreliable. Phenobarbital is known to yield great results, as it is known a a "truth serum" to an average citizen, and only by trained, licensed medical personnel.

Drunk: If its just 1-2 glasses then he will be okay
Heavily Drunk, like 2-3 Bottles, he will become a funny character.... my friend once drank like 4 bottles and when we asked him to write alphabets... he started like Z Y X!!!!

No, It's only half true cause they only tell half truths. The rest is just lies. I know, I'm an alcoholic(12 pack a day)

When you're drunk your inhibition is lowered so you are more LIKELY to tell the truth, but you are also likely to embellish it or lie
