one bull and five or six cows. eat/ sell the surplus each year. believe it or not, one cow should feed two prodigious red meat eaters about six months

For food consumption, 1 cow should do. You might considder a bull and two cows? You may also considder a milking cow such as a holstien. The problem with that is that they make a lot of milk, which two people could not possibly consume. Unless you plan on making cheese!

depending on how much meat you eat,i would think two or three.how about a few chickens also,you will not only have meat but eggs also,then there are wild meats which are considerably healthier for you and free for the killing.....i don't eat meat,wish i hadn't phased it that way.
