teaks fairly gud but it depends on humidly in your area, the wieght on it and the fixtures u are using in it. bt in general teak is all round good. just dont add presevrative to it. it doesnt take it well

Exterior grade plywood. For solid lumber most any type would work but all should be either painted, stained or some other protective coating applied.

Redwood. It is the most expensive but it is the best. Cedar is a close 2nd.
