Currently, I'd say it's the Democrats. Although there are cracks in their unity (see Joe Lieberman). The Republican do not like Bush's liberal spending. They're pretty strong against him on some matters.

Neither party hold the key to the elections, IF the democrats win (which I beleive they will) it is because of Bush's failures especially in Iraq and congress's inability to act in the best interest of the people.

The Democratic party is NOT united. Look at the core groups, imagine them hanging out in a bar together....Farmers vs environmentalists, union workers and farmers vs those on welfare, elderly vs "snot nosed" idealistic "lazy" college kids, everyone vs gays... I can go on and on.....

I believe the Republicans are more united.

Democrats are made up of fringe groups. (Like NOW - they didn't care if Bill Clinton raped women as long as he let them abort babies) They have gays, Hollywood nut jobs, and tree-huggers. All just in the party because their one issue is represented.

none and here is why:
"Every time we do something you tell me America will do this and will do that . . . I want to tell you something very clear: Don't worry about American pressure on Israel. We, the Jewish people, control America, and the Americans know it." -- Ariel Sharon to Shimon Peres, October 3rd, 2001, as reported on Kol Yisrael
