My best friends 10 year old, iv known her since she was 2 years old-so its getting emtional lol...
She developing really early, she has a B cup, has her period and has hair in all the places:( (so her mom has told me).
I didnt grow breast or get a period until 13, so whats in store for her daughter?
I read somewhere that the hormones that the dairy farmers are injecting their cows with are causing children to devlop early.
Is there is truth to this?

Research being done worldwide has begun to demonstrate that certain chemicals sabotage children’s sexual development. These chemicals simulate or block estrogen and other hormones, and may be causing increased incidence of early puberty, undescended or undersized testicles, falling sperm counts, testicular cancer, and hypospadias, where the urinary canal is open on the underside of the penis. Known as endocrine or hormone disruptors, these chemicals include a broad list of insecticides, herbicides and fungicides, and industrial chemicals, such as dioxin, PCBs, mercury, lead, cadmium, alkyl phenols, phthalates and styrenes. The evidence further suggests that it isn’t the amount of exposure that is most critical, but the timing of the dose. For example, researchers at the University of Wisconsin found in 1992 that it took an almost lethal dose of dioxin to impair the reproductive system of adult rats, but a single small dose of dioxin given to pregnant rats on the 15th day of gestation – a critical period when sex is determined – caused sperm reductions and affected sexual behavior in the male offspring. A similar Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) study of female rats exposed to dioxin before birth found malformations of their reproductive tract.
Hormone disrupting chemicals may be stealing a normal childhood from girls, too. Marcia E. Herman-Giddens, Dr.P.H., at the University of North Carolina, reported in the April 1997 Pediatrics that American girls are entering puberty at earlier ages than in the past. The study involved 17,000 girls and revealed that, between their eighth and ninth birthdays, 48% of black girls and about 15% of white girls had begun breast or secondary hair development or both. "The possibility that certain plastics and insecticides degrade into substances that have estrogen-related physiological effects on living things should be investigated. We have growth hormones in meat and milk, plastics containing estrogen-like substances in dental sealants used on kids’ teeth, and plastic wrapthat may have an estrogenic effect used to wrap sandwiches for kids’ lunches," she adds.

I started at 10, had a full bush and everything lmao
Started menstruating at 11... and that was 17 years ago, my neice is 12 and started developing early as well. I think its part hormonal and part hereditary, not sure. I wouldn't be too concerned though, some girls begin puberty at 8 or 9 years old, although its more rare.
In reference to the answer above ^^^ it doesn't have to do with having sex at an early age

Yeah (about the meat and dairy thing) I am gald i ate mostlt fruits when i was younger (always have craved them). She is most likely going to go through everything everyone else does. Some people just mature that way faster than others. I didn't get mine till I was almost 14.

It might be true but i doubt it. Either your riend has started having sex or its just the difference in people body. some people develop more earlier than other and some dont develop all the way until they are fully grown. Its probably just a growth pert that has hit already. But dam at age 10year any thing is prossible.

totally it's hormones, it's really scary it's been going on for years. when i was a teen they were using to many hormones in the meats(in puerto rico) little girls were getting their periods at 6, BOYS were growing boobs. it was awful. but hormones are in almost everything now. they say it's one of the main causes of young black girls bodies maturing so fast, hormones in food AND in those super hair grow type products. it's terrible.

Yes it very true. Because of the hormones in the meat and what you feed your kid (fast food (chemicals)) causes this to happen to kids.
