I've never heard of it being bad but I've never worn an underwire to bed. I've worn soft-cup bras to bed a lot. When I had my implants done, I HAD to wear a bra all the time. Luckily, it was a sport bra that hooks up the front. I COULD NOT wait to wear a normal pretty bra after that adventure.

I still wear a bra to bed from time to time. It hasn't killed me yet.

I didn't think it was bad...aside from just being constricting. I've heard about a celebrity who supposedly sleeps in hers, only removing the bra for showers or swimming and hers are perfect. Also the continuous support a bra provides actually sounds like it would keep them perky

I wore bras to bed a lot of times and nothing happened. I'm in a house with a lot of young men and little boys and nothing is more embarrassing than answering questions or having my nephews laugh at my nipples showing through my pj tops. Why do they stick out? What are they called? Why don't mine do that? That's my young nephews questions.

it is only bad if someone is there with you! Otherwise a support bra is fab to wear in bed - expecially when you are pregnant

because you are 21 times more likely to develop breast cancer. Braless might be the way to go, except breast can get in the way, distract, and, if large, hurt your back. Plus, what guy wants to sleep next to a gal in a bra? Not me!
