In a way because now we know the threat but, also no because now we are doing things to protect ourselves.

We FEEL less safe because the danger was exposed on 9/11.

But that is actually why we are more safe. On 9/10, we weren't safer, just more ignorant.

I'd say no just because of the massive measures taken against terrorists. We may FEEL less safe because we're more aware of what's out there, and certainly we could do more in terms of homeland security, but I think we're safer now then five years ago.

I believe we are taking the right steps to make this country safer. Are we safer? Who knows but i know it will be much harder for another 9/11 to happen.

The USA is SAFER because of GWB and his policies.

We are fighting them OVER THERE so that they don't come HERE - so far so good.

Did you watch Katie Couric's special last night on the war? Even our soldiers say they are fighting in Iraq to keep the terrorists from coming here. They feel that they are succeeding.
