Because they know the demographic that supports them is rife with apathetic people who don't believe in the system. Without the money for their time, and without the bus ride these people wouldn't vote. The Democrats have had to do this for years. The Republicans provide busing for seniors for the same purpose, but they don't pay them.
To Shirazz Level 1: its called walking around money. Its against the law in Maryland and a few other states. You look like an intelligent guy, you can go a search for it yourself, but i gave you a head start.

Well they sometimes use their own money to bus people from their homes to vote because they have no other way of getting there or they have been threatened by right-wing groups not to vote. The first Bush win I was in Florida and there were hundreds that had to walk miles to get to any voting place, cant get more American than that. You cant buy a vote because once you are in front of the machine by yourself you can choose to vote for anyone without anybody knowing. This story is overblown by the republicans and the real story is why would anyone be against this? Im Independent and I hate Bush, Clinton was an above average president, I will never understand why the poor and uneducated like yourself vote for the very people that will destroy your future.

Because in there desperation to get votes, they figure the only way they have a chance of winning is to cheat. After all, they cannot even tell America what they really believe. If they did, they would never win another election.Remember, these are desperate, power hungry fools, who feel entitled to the power they carried for so long. They are spoiled idiots, self absorbed, And would sell America out, because their love of power, outstrips there loyalty to country. Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts ,absolutely.

Why do the Republicans racially profile voters and disallow people who aren't felons (but who were on a list of felons with purposely loose name and address guidelines, which no attempt was made to correct) their right to vote? I've seen no evidence of your claim, but what happened in Florida is public record.

Because they care about the Democratic process. They want to make sure that people who would otherwise not make it to the polls have a chance to exercise their constitutional right to vote. As far as paying them goes....back that up with something.

because they have no hope to win an election based on facts, so they have to lie and distort the truth.-Shiraz.
That's funny.
What's also funny is that you are a Democratic stategist attempting
to rouse the base with Republican lies.
